Description

Your RV deserves a brain, not just a thermostat.

The Eko Clim8 replaces your existing EMS or ECC control system outright. It runs your climate, watches your power, guards your pets, and answers from any phone you already own. No app to install, no account to create, no subscription, ever. Every device can be your controller, not just a panel stuck on the wall.

It’s local-first by design. Everything lives on the controller in your rig, so it keeps working in a canyon with no signal, and your data never has to leave the coach.

Every device is a controller.

Phones, Tablets, Computers, heck even Palm Pilots! We wanted to make sure every device would be able to control things. No specialized app required. No need to leave the campfire to make sure the rig is cooling for bed time – do it right from your phone.

For those who don’t have an extra phone or tablet, or they want a dedicated control panel on the wall for immediate access, a removable touchscreen add-on with a magnetic mount is also available as an upgrade.
Base model will include a wall plate with a phone holder.
Everyone gets the same great product with endless ways to control and manage it.

If you just want a thermostat, it’s just a thermostat.

Out of the box, it’s one dial and a row of modes. Set a temperature, walk away, done. That’s the default, not a stripped-down setting you have to go looking for. Turn on Advanced when you want separate heating and cooling setpoints, a comfort band you set yourself, and fan staging you control. One toggle, and you can go back any time. Feature packed for the ones who want all the control and luxury in their device.

Climate control that thinks in rooms

Up to two configurable zones in the base unit, expandable to four with add-on modules. Each zone gets its own setpoint, its own mode, and its own sensor, so the bedroom can sit cooler than the living area without an argument. Seven modes per zone, and Auto stages the fan, protects the compressor, and holds your number for you.

Sleep Mode keeps one zone quiet overnight(such as a bedroom) while another keeps working keeping the rig cool without a noisy unit close by. Full-week scheduling gives every zone up to eight events a day, and a manual override is respected rather than overwritten. Optional wireless room sensors let a zone hold temperature at the pillow instead of at the wall.

It knows what you’re drawing

The Clim8 measures real AC current continuously. As you approach your limit, the Clim8 sheds compressors and leaves your fans running, rotating zones so one room isn’t the one that always loses. It learns what each compressor actually pulls in your rig instead of assuming a number from a table, and it records why it shed a zone, so a warm coach comes with an explanation instead of a mystery. Need your microwave? Clim8 makes sure the power is all there.

Works on 30A shore, 50A service, a generator, or a ceiling you set yourself. No shed modes to remember. No tripped breakers on a hot afternoon.

Pet Mode, with no monthly bill

Arm it when you leave, or let it automatically arm itself when your phone leaves the rig. If the RV crosses your set temp limit, cooling starts immediately and then your phone gets the alert telling you what happened and that it’s already handled. If the rig loses shore power or drops offline, you’ll know within minutes.

Dedicated pet monitors run $200 or more plus a subscription, and all they can do is text you while your dog sits in the heat. The Clim8 is the only solution that fixes the problem first and tells you second.

Alerts that find you

Temperature emergency, power loss, rig offline, Pet Mode event. Real push notifications on iPhone and Android with no app to install, plus email backup. There is nothing for you to tap. By the time your phone buzzes the Clim8 has already acted, and the alert tells you what happened and that it is handled. No per-message fees.

Built to be lived with

The interface was the first thing we designed, not the last. Multiple themes with automatic light and dark, switchable °F and °C, and a layout that works from a phone screen up to a widescreen display. It keeps an eye on the equipment too, flagging changes in current draw and cooling performance that are worth a look before they turn into a rooftop repair. Free over-the-air updates arrive over your own network.

Will it work with my rig?

Plug-and-play with most Intellitec-based systems from 1994 to 2009, and all  Coleman-Mach with a standard control box.
Additional brands such as Furrion and Dometic are in the works.
Feel free to reach out with a pic of your current thermostat and we would be happy to answer!

Early Intellitec panel with a red and blue colour graph instead of numbers

Coloured graph, no numbers

A red and blue strip shows the setting instead of a number. Roughly 1994 to 1998. Part numbers begin 00-003.

Fits, needs a sensor kit

Common Intellitec panel with printed 50 to 90 temperature numbers

Printed 50 to 90 scale

A scale printed 50 to 90 shows the setting. The most common one by far. Roughly 1998 to 2005. Part numbers begin 00-005.

Straight swap

Late Intellitec panel with a round temperature dial

Round dial

A round dial with a needle, plus a separate furnace switch. Roughly 2005 to 2009. Part numbers begin 00-008.

Coleman-Mach standard control box with a labelled terminal strip

Coleman-Mach standard control box

Boxes 8330-752, 9330C755, 8530-750 and 9530A751. It wires differently to the Intellitec, so it ships with its own harness.

Straight swap

Not supported yet: Coleman-Mach zone control kits, the 9430 and 9630 series. On a Coleman-Mach box, a conductor marked Sig instead of one screw per function means a zone kit. Dometic CCC and CCC2 are not supported today either. We are working on all of them.

Your current thermostat can’t do any of that. Your Clim8 will.
